Mrs. EllenMrs. Ellen is the head preschool teacher. An American, she was born in Japan and has spent much of her life here. She graduated from the University of Hawaii and has more than twenty years of teaching experience. She has two grown daughters. Mrs. Ellen enjoys baking sweets.

Mrs. AmyMrs. Amy has served in various ways at New Hope Preschool almost from the beginning. Currently she is the office manager, and she also teaches PE. She graduated with a B. A. in communications from Spring Arbor University in Michigan. She likes drawing illustrations, watching live drama, watching and doing sports, and riding her motorcycle. When you come to preschool, you will probably see her motorcycle!

Mr. JeremyMr. Jeremy is the director of New Hope School, and one of the pastors at New Hope Narimasu. He grew up in California and Montana in the United States. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.A. in English Literature, and from Rockbridge Seminary with an M.Div. He moved to Japan in 1997, and has been teaching children almost ever since. He and his wife Tomomi have two sons and a daughter. Jeremy's hobbies include reading and bouldering. He is a lifelong fan of the San Francisco Giants.

Miss YukaMiss Yuka graduated from from Rikkyo University's Department of Christian Studies, where she obtained a license to teach junior and senior high school. She has worked at rehabilitation facilities and after-school clubs for children with developmental disabilities. She has witnessed the growth of many children. Her hobbies are dancing, traveling, and eating delicious food.

Mr. IsakuMr. Isaku graduated from high school in the United States and earned his B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Oregon in 1995. He went on to complete his M.A. in Religion at International College and Graduate School in Hawaii in 2000. In 2002, he married his wife Nozomi, and they are now the proud parents of two children, Eugene and Joy. He currently serves as a pastor at New Hope Tokyo and is passionate about helping the next generation realize and release their dreams for a great cause. As a certified counselor, he walks alongside individuals, supporting them through life’s challenges.

Mr RhysMr. Rhys is half Japanese and half American. He was born and raised in Japan, but was educated in English. Because he was homeschooled, his family was able to keep the main focus on God. He hopes he can share his love for God with the children. He has a black belt in Kyokuhsin Karate and is a karate instructor. He even teaches some karate training methods and exercises in the preschool.

Mrs. EmikoMrs. Emiko is a Japan-licensed childcare worker. She graduated from Kanda University of International Studies with a degree in foreign languages and cultures. She spent 2 years working at Walt Disney World in the United States. She has a husband and a daughter. Her interests include traveling, dancing and watching stage shows.
